Micro-Speedo Modul

July 2024: The "real life in the bike" is quite different fom our workshop environment. So, we have some modules out for testing. The module is availabe as soon as we get some positive responses from the testers. 

Don't fancy a clock store or Christmas tree on your bike and only want to fit the bare essentials of a speedometer to your bike? Then the Micro-Speedo is the right choice. The module is just 38 x 19 mm in size and 10 mm thick include cables. We decided to offer the module fully assembled and tested incl. 1 mm tinted plexiglass screen and 8 mm stainless steel button. This gives you absolute flexibility with the installation and only the phantasy is the border. You can download a housing drawing below and print it out with a 3D printer, modify it for your needs or, if you have a CNC milling machine, mill your own housing.

If you have draw your own housing then we would be happy if you send to us the Step or STL file. So we can share your drawing with other users and we send you the money back as a small thank you for your help.

However, If you prefer a ready made device in a standard housing then you can get it from us as well. 

The speedometer is very easy to use: If the button is pressed and held down when the power supply is switched on, the wheel circumference appears on the display in cm and counts up between 140 and 220 cm until the button is released. The last value is then saved in the module. If the button is pressed while driving or during a break, the daily kilometers driven appear on the display. After pressing the button for approx. 4 seconds, the trip odometer reading is reset to zero. The 4 LEDs on the outside indicate neutral, high beam, indicators and oil pressure. Debouncing by the software allows the use of all common wheel sensors. An integrated light sensor control the brightness at day or nighttime.
